Jin Soon Swatches & Review

*PR Sample

          Hello lovelies,

I have the honor to present you my first Jin Soon nail polishes. Who is Jin Soon? Well, Jin Soon Choi is the most influential nail artists in the industry. ''JinSoon nail polishes feature a revolutionary double-patented formula that deliver a long-lasting manicure.
I saw her nail polishes on sephora.com and I've started my research on them.
It was love at first sight! I was browsing & browsing and I couldn't believe how wonderful they looked, so I imediately start adding them to my wishlist.
All the JinSoon nail polishes are vegan-friendly and 5-free, formulated without hard chemicals such as: formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, formaldehyde resin & camphor.

Today I have to show you 3 of them: Cool Blue, Melange & Azurite.

  • Cool Blue - Is part of the Spring/Summer Collection 2014, The Color Field Collection - A Mid-Century Fashion Retrospective. Jin Soon Choi was ''inspired by the fashion of fads & art movements of 1950's, capturing the era's youthful, creative spirit with bright, single-toned colors''. The nail polish shades from this collections were named exclusively by top runaway models . Cool Blue was named by Mirte Maas & for me this is the perfect shade of blue. When you say blue, this is the color that I think off and visualize, the perfect shade, a bright cerulean blue creme. The formula is great, I only applied 1 thicker coat.

  • Melange - Is part of the Fall/Winter 2014 Collection - Jin Soon Tess Giberson Collection. Jin Soon Choi collaborated with designer Tess Giberson for this collection and they were ''inspired by the transference of classic rugged American sportwear into contemporary, efortless, luxurious style.'' They took the basic shades & created something unique by using shimmer & glitter, a new dimension. Melange is a silver nail polish with tiny dark grey speckles. It's such a unique color, a must-have for nail polish lovers & not only.
I applied 2 coats.

  • Azurite - Is part of Fall/Winter 2013 Collection - TIBI A La Mode Collection. For this collection Jin Soon Choi collaborated with women's wear designer Amy Smilovic of Tibi. The Tibi Collection ''was inspired by the idea of layering while keeping to the urban edginess of Smilovic's designs''. Azurite it's an absolutely gorgeous deep blue wih galaxy-like speckles. It's the galaxy in a bottle, a bootle full of stars that you can layer on your nails. The formula is amazing and you NEED TO HAVE IT!
I applied 1 thicker coat.
The retail price is 18$ and you can find this nail polishes at: Jin Soon locations, select Sephora locations, select Barneys NY locations and select Space NK retailers - www.jinsoon.com; www.sephora.com; www.barneys.com; www.spacenk.com.
So what do you think about them?  Did you knew about this nail polishes?

XOXO,
Elisa
